Panracer Fire XC pro, or Michelin S and XL/s, or something else? Taking all comments.

I'm diggin my Panaracer's. I couldn't get them to hook up well until I went tubeless and started running about 30 psi. Now they stick really well in corners and climbing. Also do well in the mud and dry (I especially appreciate them in the mud after this past weekend). You're welcome to give them a try sometime we'll swap wheels.

i literally just (about 2 hours ago) put on a Kenda xc tire on the back of my bike and went tubeless. I just went and did on trail and I can say that it hooked really well in some damp, tacky stuff. I also recommend the specialized pro tire.

I don't like fire xcs. I hate them at cameron park. I hate specialized roll x pros everywhere. Kenda has some nice sticky tires, but the sidewalls tear on me. (others don't do it so bad, and blora is hard on tires) Michelin comp s are nice grippy tires that roll fast. I did tear many sidewalls on the usts. I am running bigger tires, so I don't really want to run any of these now. I think to race, pythons are my favorite. The new michelin all mountain looks really promising.

*edit - pm wumpus and see if he will get you my fire xcs. There are a couple of torn lugs, but they would let you see what they are like before you buy any.

Have you had a chance to ride the pythons in the 2.3? I've heard good things about these tires and was thinking about switching.

Nope - but I would like to. I am actually going to put big lugged kenda kinetics on when they come into the shop. I am tired of spinning out. If I race, it will be on pythons.
