woohoo!!! new wheels rule. Ok, gotta break in a road saddle, starting tomorrow. Let's say 11:00am on the steps of Gregory Gym? Call me if you want to go sooner. I get off of work around 9:00. Post a reply if you wanna go also, so I'll know to wait a little before taking off if you're not there. If someone posts, and is running late, I'll give it until 9:15, but if I get all the people before, we'll leave sooner.

I'm thinking around 20 miles a few small hills, easy pace.

33.94, probably around 25 from greg, back. Rumor is, it's gonna get cold again. I might run into you at WC, Dustin. That's was my prime training ground to take #5 in Men's A's at conference last year. I love spring-time.

pretty much anything around. Conference last year was in Notrees, in west texas (near Odessa). Tech usually hosts a race in Lubbock, and we had races at Muleshoe, Canyon Lake, and Flat Rock (in addition to MLK park in Lubbock) this year. Most UT rides are at WC or the Greenbelt for convienence. There are City Park rides as well, but I usually don't attend them. I need to start hitting it again to up some technical skills though... City Park hates everyone, and their components.

    Question

Why must chickens cross the road? I dunno, but one ran out in front of Lorig and I yesterday... It was pretty funny. I forgot about that until lunch today. Just thought I'd let you all know.

CP loves all that love her! don't ya'll need to get in some roadie miles. I did that road that ends past Stiner Ranch by Lake Austin to 620 to 71 and back. Damn dim hills. Trek 5200's rule by the way. Imps do too
Bliss, bliss and heaven... it was gorgeousness and gorgeosity made flesh...Oh, it was wonder of wonders... And then, a bird of like rarest spun heavenmetal, or like silvery wine flowing in a spaceship, gravity all nonsense now...

Roadie miles? they're coming along. Just need to get people used to road bikes before we take off. Trail miles can be just as effective, if you ride them right. I think our most important factor will be time in the saddle. All of my HR averages when I'm riding off road are higher then road rides usually. If you can keep pedaling for 4 or 5 hours on a mountain bike, you can definately do it on the road.

Which road you talking about? Lime Creek? Volente? Bullick Hollow? Man, if I had a 5200, I'd lose 5 pounds automatically, and gain 30 seconds over two miles when climbing. You could always sponsor us, and donate 5200's to the cause . I don't think anyone would object.

I'm feeling a little under the weather, but I should make the ride this afternoon. However, first I must nap, so if I'm not there at the appointed time, call me at 750-3803. I'll meet you at on shoal creek if this happens, but I should make it, this is just a advance notice.

there were a whole bunch of pissed people, s+eve. i think they said, collectively, "s+eve is a poopoo head."

not really. they had 10 or so riders. i just went over to check out who all was gonna show up. ended up meeting a guy on a sweeeeeeet ass fixie. he was there looking for UTCC. his bike was oh-so-very nice. he was interested in T4K, so maybe he'll be a late joiner. yeah, did i mention he had a sexy fixie?

when i was leaving the meeting, i noticed someone had locked up a hot tomassini fixie next to my ride. i figure it has to belong to someone in t4k, and when i find out who, i'm going to make love to them.

word, the white seat stuck out. the one at rlm is pretty nice, too, but ain't got nothing on the seat & bars combo of the tomassini. i need to convince my dad to bequeath all his old framebuilding equipment to me so i can join the fixed gear cool club.
