Post ARR is Sponsoring a Subaru/Bike Texas Trail Doctors Trail Building School

That's right! The Subaru/Bike Texas Trail Doctors from the Texas Bike Coalition are holding a trail building school. Here are the details as of today; they are subject to change:

    March 6 & 7
    Satuday & Sunday
    9 AM start each day
Bring your own lunch, soft drink, water, etc. Also, bring something to take notes on & some work gloves if you have them.

The format and information closely follow IMBA's Trail Care Crew's school. Half of the first day will be spent in the classroom learning about the whole trail building process. After lunch, you'll go out on the trail and put your new knowledge to use. The second day will be spent in more detail on the trail.

Sign up by emailing me at dburatti@grandecom.net. Space is limited, so don't delay. Mark your calendars today!

    Directions from I-35:

Take the exit for Lake Georgetown/2338/Williams Dr.
    Turn left onto Williams Dr.
Follow this about four miles to Cedar Breaks Rd. Turn left on Cedar Breaks. There will be an HEB on the right after you've turned. The Corps' office is ~1/4-mile on the right.

    From 183:

Take 183 north past Seward Junction and over the North San Gabriel River.
Turn right onto 3405. Follow this until it ends, ~7.5 miles.
Turn right onto 2338. Go about a three miles and turn right onto Cedar Breaks Rd. The HEB will be on your right. The office is ~1/4-mile on the right.

Excellent.......but i hate cheese......it tastes like the toe jam from a dead bum filtered through a dirty sock with lysol and then fermented into a wax wad that i'd expect to find packed in the corner of a sewage drain pipe outlet from a an insane asylum........ Carlos

Yes, you can ride, too! I hope to ride after we do the class each day if I have enough energy.

Estimated time to complete each day (without ride calculated)?
    R&I quotables:
They taste different when you flip them over!
Don't eat the ginger snaps, they've been down chucks pants!
Just what I need - a robot sex doll telling me "is that all you got?"
Sue sleeps next to me, and Toby sleeps on top of my wife!
I like that YOU like Dick!

    Saturday: 9-1 class, 1:01 to 1:59 lunch, 2 PM to ~5 or 6 hands-on trail side
Sunday 9-1 or 2 trail side continued, lunch after, then ride.
