    ARR Trail Conditions Page

Has this thing become 'un-cool' over time or what? Nobody seems to use it anymore. My excuse for not adding any new info is that I simply havn't been on the trails for a while. When I am (and I remember) I try to edit the status on the page linked below. Any chance of getting this added as a Sticky to the top of the ARR or Austin VooDoo folders?

I've been looking for this forever! Thanks for the url.

Oh yes -- using this would be waaayy better than starting a new "Will WC Be Ridable?" thread every other day.

    Ian,

PM admin or a mod (technikal or jburatti) to get it as a sticky. I think it's a good idea.

Good suggestion and good to hear from you.

Hope to see you at one of the rides soon.

    Never was very successful.

In my opinion, the conditions page is too impersonal for people to want to post on it. When you read the condition posted, you think who posted it? and do they know what they are talking about? I like to know who is giving me advice. Besides, we forget to post there because it is so far away. If it were right there between RLAG and VooDoo and there were a sticky with a link right in it, that might remind folks and be easier to get to. In any case, right now it is pretty much a total flop, great idea in need of modification.

Maybe some peeps just like to ask if WC is rideable. I try to keep it to a minimum and only ask when I am in dire need.

    My 2 cents for free,
    marti

Now that Britt has announced the opening of the Slaughter Creek Trail, is there any chance of getting it added to our helpful link above?

    Gone

My bookmark just brought up an empty website.

Maybe someone is going to build something better.

I just go on VooDoo and ask. Never fails.

I was out at Walnut Creek and check the trail on Tuesday night. It was still pretty muddy. Should be good to go by Thursday evening.

YES! We are working on designating who can update the Status sections on the Trail page of the new website. As soon as we get all the Trail Stewards registered we'll get people who live and/or rode each trail regularly the permission to enter updates!
A short ride is better than no ride. Get on your bike!!!

Thanks so much for all your work on the website. Lots of good content already. I can tell you have been shaking the trees for content. Again, thanks so much for all you do.

Do you still have that list of twitter handles for the trails around Austin? The link didn't work for me.
