    Reimers Trail Volunteer Work Offered

With the cooler weather, Reimers is getting traction again. Many of the Black Diamond trails (south side) are so overgrown that the line through the rocks are unseen. I'm willing to clear out a 12-15" path in the worst areas. How can we get this approved/going?

The ARR webpage list Bradley Sikes as the trail steward over there. Not sure how to contact him directly. Maybe a mail to the ARR site and they can direct you to him?

Thanks Brian, I saw that name on the site, but didn't see contact info. Maybe I check with some of my contacts to make a connection.

So I just rode all of this for the first time.... and also found lots of overgrowth some broken branches, etc. Would love to help clean things up, but don't know anything about trail maintenance or what is allowed or what it should be like, just pretty sure my feet shouldn't physically be in the weeds and want to help make our trails awesome.

Same findings on the green trail. There is a good bit of erosion happening, but also some easy fixes. A few hand tools could do some good work to get stuff trimmed back a few feet.

Watch for a work day to be posted on Meetup and on the sticky on Austin Voodoo boards. We need to scope the work to be done before we post the workday. It should be int he next week or two.
