Totally. I somehow screwed up recording Snakeskin both times, but one of those I slid to a complete stop and almost laid it down in that sandy turn before the rock garden.

That turn gets EVERYONE at least once....you have to hit it painfully slow.

When I flagged and cut that line last year I thought about a reroute around that sandy s turn corner. But it's a skill . And it slows you down for upcoming next section.
I was hoping Jeremiah would have extended the finish line of Snakeskin this year but he didn't. I might volunteer for doing that.

I was totally cool with not rolling that rock slab in the potential rain that never arrived.

No worries - good to meet you on the trail.
The trails were really well marked - me and a guy I was camped by did the pre-ride and never really got off track.

And you did good! Great event.

I was on the wait list and finally got in. My first run started at Lookout, crossed the road and my crank arm broke. At 20 seconds, this was my shortest race (or fastest DNF). It was an awesome course; maybe next time..

Conveniently broke before that ladder that I took the B-line to both times. You were fated to live to ride another day.
