Can't wait for that connection. Currently have to link neighborhood street to access downtown RR.

The Creek Bend bridge has opened up some nice rainey day routes though.

Retention dam across 183 from the Twin Lakes YMCA all the way to Little Elm trail close to Lakeline road. Think MORE TRAILS and parks, etc.
This is very exciting. I've been in Red Oaks since 2006. There used to actually be a network of mostly double-track trails running all through that area, including what is now Woodford Estates and the newer parts of Red Oaks. I wasn't into mountain biking then, but I had found enough trails back in there to at least get 45 minutes of exercise without having to ride around the neighborhood streets. I would normally enter near where the elementary school is now, but part of the trail also came out behind the Citgo station on Bell. Some of the sections were under a lot of cover, with abandoned appliances and such. I used to ride around back there wondering if I'd get jacked up by some toothless cedar choppers.

I just rode the Moto back there and wander around on some of the rough cut to track roads. Wandered across a teenager hanging out and chilling in the trees.
