Looking for a cheap short persons bike

Looking for a bicycle for a teenager getting into riding bikes so it needs to be small-ish and cheap. At this point id prefer a MTB but id also take a townie or hybrid as well. Have lots o' stuff to trade and also some cash.

Rather start here with you guys than wade into the pit that is craigslist classifieds.

Not sure what price range you're looking at but my friend has a size small Camber for sale.

Also not sure what your definition of cheap is but I have a 1998 Gary Fisher Hoo Koo E Koo in XS frame (13" maybe?).

Thanks for the suggestions and sorry for not being more specific. Looking for something in the sub-$400 range. Also have this that'd id like to trade if anyone needs or wants a giant aluminum canoe.

Hmmmmm....I could possibly be a candidate for that kind of trade. I've got my wife's old mtb. Its an early 2000's K2 thats is setup rigid. It is an LX 9spd level bike in quite good condition. My boys are big enough now that she could ride their bikes if we were to go onto a ride together. She may not really need her bike after all. Id have to get home later this evening to get pics and such.

    Later,
    CJB

We can sell my wifes bike as she doesn't ride it anymore. Specialized Myka in a small frame. Real good condition maybe around $200?

All of those are for sure better than my wife's bike. I'd suggest taking them....unless the trade mechanism is more important.

    Thanks
