For the 2 wheeled beatdowns Seth seems to give out, aluminum is the only way to go.

Everything I've seen from them is beautiful and sturdy. Better have long legs though, those top tubes are higher than reported...

just a quick and random partially related update.

was at angelfire this last weekend. someone whom I wont name, cased a jump on an evil following, snapped the top tube! no crash involved at all. just food for thought

you should get Bobby to bring some GG bikes down to Austin for a weekend. I'd love to give one a spin. I think they have the customer base for it here too.
    Demo at Spider Mtn?

Tell him to brink a Smash, a Trail Pistol, and a Shred Dog all in a medium for educational purposes. I could use some domestic made aluminum enlightenment.

Casing a jump is kind of a crash.

Also, you gonna talk about your Phoenix? The one that's been broken two times in the last month?

sure lets talk about my phoenix.. the 2016 V1 had a crack around a bearing on the rear triangle, they didnt have the same lime green colored rear triangle so they upgraded me to a complete 2019 v2 frame without any problems or unnecessary pain in the ass bullshit I had to go through with evil. and about 7 weeks later (this last Saturday) a big jagged rock hit my down tube where the factory rubber guard didnt wrap the corners and it chipped/cracked the frame.

how is this even a comparison? a frame cracking from riding forces vs rock impacts couldnt be any more opposite. try again, bro

and the jump he cased on was on the dual slalom course. it wasnt even very big and the guy weighs like 160

point is that I had my wreckoning break in numerous places with no signs of impact in the broken areas. then I continue to see other evil bikes under other smaller lighter riders than myself breaking from riding forces... not a tough conclusion
