Trail Party checking in. Lift will take time to install. It will be worth the wait. The trails we're building in concert with MCP are gonna change the landscape....get ready to buy a bigger bike.

All communication will be run through the Trail Party FB and IG pages. Follow us in your feeds.

The soft open for the venue will be on Sep 29; it is our first race of our Texas Enduro Cup series. We're going to launch the Bikereg soon. THIS RACE WILL SELL OUT.

Is there a hospital close or will folks need to airlift to Seton?

The mtb trail at Lake Fort Smith State Park in Arkansas, the section my wife and I rode, was just short of seven miles and had a total of just over 850' of elevation. The longest "downhill" section was around 300' of elevation, and it was a good ride. As FJsnoozer said, include a couple of short uphill sections that your downhill momentum can help you with – with a little peddling too... don't be lazy – done right, 350' of elevation give a rider plenty to think about and enjoy. And I'll be honest, riding 850' of elevation in a seven mile loop was taxing. The uphill sections that were somewhat gradual were doable, but there were some steeper switchback sections that required a few stops. The folks in charge of building the trail at Lake Fort Smith State Park will be building another 6-8 miles over the next few months we were told by a ranger. There's already around two miles built that goes further up than the section we rode and he said the intention is to have a shuttle service take riders up to the top (easily accessible via a paved road). Anyway, if the video is an indication of what these folks have built/are building, it looks great, and a lift will just help riders make more runs while at the park. I hope though that there are some loops apart from the downhill trails for those who want to do some cross country riding as well. I'm also wondering what the pricing will be.

Bummer about "all Comm" going through F-Book. Any chance some news can be shared here?
BTW, no lift needed, ride up to go down. Should be fun !!

Just curious when this will be open to the public? Is there a date set on that? I see that it will premeir at the race sept 29th but when will the general public be allowed to pay a day use fee and ride?

Is it XC-able for those that are too wussy to ride big drops and don't like to be airborne? Asking for a friend.

As the guy that ate it on pavement today that guy is me. Clearly I can't even master flat ground.

If this was related to your crank coming off, it's understandable. If not, well then, carry on.

We are two guys with day jobs working for basically no profit. We're too busy building sick trail and throwing dope ass races to monitor every platform.

FB and IG pages are set to public. Anyone can view them.

I get your reasoning, but as someone who is not on social media I can tell you that you might be missing out on a few potential customers/advocates by not making announcements elsewhere. I definitely don't want to take time away from trail building, but seems like a quick copy/paste onto this thread wouldn't be too much of a time suck.

Ultimately, I want you guys to succeed, so the more eyeballs you can get on your announcements the better. We don't need a play-by-play of every little detail, but when there are big announcements throw us a bone!

Still working this out with MCP. They have a larger plan for the property. Bikes are just one piece of it.

We have a race contract for three years and Trail Party will be focused on that.

There is a green flow trail going in now. A blue/black flow trail with no jumps is complete. We are working on building two black trails that will be more natural.

There will be jump lines and huge features. It's gonna take time. This is gonna be a gravity park.
