Question Trails Opps in New Braunfelds?

At one of the ARR meetings w/ the TCC in heard someone mention trail possibilities in New Braunfelds? That someone had contacted the Ridge Riders about it?

I'd be interested in helping with that since i'm in San Marcos and it's only 15 minutes down the road. Anyone with a more info? An email or phone #?

You might want to directly contact someone in the RRs like Britt. I think you can find contact info on their main page.

Cool

jburatti.......et. al.

There is a link, http://www.compuvision.net/comaltrails/ on the ARR website under "Links" for trails in New Braunfels.

Their purpose is to acquire, build and maintain primitive/technical trails, hike & bike trails and bike lanes on paved roads, in and around Comal County. Let's give them as much help, support and assistance as we can.

It's all about the trails!!!
Live Free....Ride Free......Be Free...anything else would just............Suck!!!

When everyone wants the same thing, it's hard to guess why we ever misunderstood one another!

There ain't a trail that cain't be rode, or a rider that cain't be throwed!

I went down Saturday and hooked up with a great bunch of guys that have some cool stuff going there in the hill country. A big thanks to Matt Gruene of Gruene Bikewurks for getting me hooked up with the right people. Once i get a little more oriented with the goals and scope of the projects they are working on i'll share it here. In short, it's new sweet singletrack with great views, good climbs, and the potential for a serious technical rocky playground. I'm stoked!

Look for calls to ride, build, and camp soon! i love making singletrack!

PS- And this doesn't even take into consideration the Comal County Trails projects which could be realy cool!

Great Terrain

I remember camping, hiking, and canoeing at Canyon Lake. It's excellent terrain for single track. I'm willing to bet it'll be similar to Flat Creek (but maybe not quite as scenic): technical but with superb flow. SO COOL! Just what central Tejas needs: more PUBLIC single track!
