Guns! Bikes! No, seriously, ride bikes, shoot guns!

Reveille Ranch is putting on this thing:

The 2019 Reveille Ridge Reaper match is the country's best & most challenging team event of the year. Held in the Texas Hill Country, teams must complete a 9 mile endurance course while mastering the pistol, carbine and precision rifle stages along the way. Please note that due to safety requirements, we've removed the land nav requirement.

I was thinking how fun that would be this am as I was riding by fields in NE Austin watching clouds of Whitewing doves flying by!

I know a lot of the 3 gun events have really good prize tables, but the entry fee is kinda steep for this even. Also interesting to see what kind of teams come out for a 9 mile course on foot. The normal fat guys with guns crew won't survive and I suspect the wannabe tacticool crowd probably cannot handle that kind of distance (not with all the flat feet and pigeon toes).

Was discussing this, this weekend, they are down to less ten 20 spots left for the weekend. So it sounds like it is selling pretty good.

Also they have 2 Sig Sauer weekends coming up, they should be a lot of fun also.

I've done the Run-n-Gun in the Sun a few times in Pecos, and it's a lot of fun. HOWEVER, a mountain bike race with pistol shooting stages along the way would be unique and more fun.
