I've always wondered why there aren't pigs along the greenbelt. Seems like it connects to a lot of good habitat, and nothing would ever bother them down there. On a semi-related note, I was walking along the concrete path out of Walnut the other night and saw a very nice buck. At least a 10 point.

Iíve been wondering when they would show up like everywhere else..it couldíve been a big buck track w his toes spread out because of the mud & armadillos tearing the ground up but as an avid pig killa, Iím suspicious..Iíve seen some 150 class bucks on the grn belt..almost hit one w my fro tire several yrs ago..btw, gun season opens on Sat!

Perhaps, if you didn't spank him so much, he wouldn't have run away.

This thread has had more posts in one day that the rest of the forum has had in a month.

    Well done!

You don't have to remind me about deer season coming up! I've got my .25-06, .270, 300WSM, and 6.8SPC ready to rock. If any pigs show up (the pork kind, not the cops), they'll get blasted.

Sorry I have nothing of true value to add to your thread other than awesome culture, you're welcome bro.

Srsly though, I sold my ar a couple of years back and I miss range time and exploding things with tannerite. I'm thinking about a 308 or something for accurate distance target shooting. Any suggestions? (id pig hunt but I don't think we have the same problem up here that y'all do but the land is exactly the same so it probably wont be long.)

I ain't worried about it. I've still got pork in the freezer and there's plenty more where that came from.
