GAH! So Sunday night I almost pulled the trigger when it was $65 but figured I'd wait till Monday to drop the bike off at Hammerhead to see if it was repairable. Turns out the X9 derailleur does not have a replacement cage so since I didn't feel like waiting till Thursday for a new one to arrive from Pricepoint I just bought one from Cody just to get it back quicker. Needless to say, the bike is back cleaner, and in great working condition and whats a few more bucks to support the local economy right?

BTW, for anyone on the fence that is a STUPID price on that derailleur.

My advice to you is to buy a backup, you never know when you will need one.
