Sorry I missed the R&I. Was out on the skinny bike trying to get some miles in so I don't get my ass handed to me at next month's Hill Country Ride. I think I just got a preview of the ass whuppin last night tho.

Is your heart rate supposed to hit 195?

I try and make mine hit 190+ every ride. My goal usually is to hit 200 at least once.

    Fun times!

The Surly's new wheels and brakes were wonderful! First ride with the new wheels/brakes on dirt!

Good chatting with everybody afterwards too!

Great ride. Lots of fun meeting/re-meeting everyone.

Jen & Jody - thanks for the trail suggestions for my girlfriend. I told her about them and she's looking forward to hitting them up.

I hope you mean "no beer," not that I eat that much soup, either.

I took 6 beers that have been in my fridge since I had company to
last week's R&I, and only 2 of them got drunk.

How do you get a beer drunk? Do you make it drink itself? Do you spike it with some whiskey? Does a drunk beer fall over spontaneously? And while we're on the subject, did any of the MoJos also get drunk by drinking drunken beers?

For maximum effect, read the above selection as if you are Will Ferrell doing his Harry Caray impersonation: "If you were a hotdog, would you eat yourself??!! I know I would...!"

    Question Weather Updates?

    Thread bump.

What's the rain sitcheyashun at WC today?

Will a Weather Channel reporter be there throughout the day giving reports? (like they do when hurricanes are approaching)

national weather service is calling for skies to clear for this
    afternoon.
