    Nando's a wuuusssss, Nando's a wuuuusssss!

Billy_Goat finished it last year, and by all accounts his longest ride prior to that for over a year was sub-20-miles. I know for a fact Nando's been participating in multiple 20 miler mtb rides this year.

Todd, use a coasting bike this year. Flip that hub. Something. Sheesh.

Not necessarily....I'd wager quite a bit of money that Lil-b and Claire would take everyone on TGR.

Todd: Understood. I'd never try (hard) to get someone to stray from their True Faith.

I've also started to work on connivings to see if I can do the equivalent here in PA, of course the distance may be less, but then we have taller hills to climb and descend ... I've seen just enough so far to barely put something together now, but by August sometime I hope to make it 40-60% trail ... we'll see ...

Man, the peer pressure... relentless. Well, TP&W Expo is cancelled. I guess I'm open that weekend. One day to ride, one day to die...

Not singlespeeding it, though. That's just wrong.

    Nando -
It's good to hear the TP&W (Toilet Paper & Wiping?, or Whining?) Expo was cancelled.....so that you can make the EB ride

Singlespeeding is not wrong......just the new right

Yeah, Sneezix went almost 2 full hours yesterday between agreeing to, and then bailing from a ride today.

    Touche!

Actually, it was well under 2 hours, I think. You must not check your messages often enough.

TGR's going to Juarez that weekend...at least I'm going to try to convince most of them to be there...can't pass up a road trip to Mexico, especially when you are GUARANTEED a t-shirt, not just told you will get one if you finish and then your t-shirt is forgotten about.

Yes I'm that petty...and yes I'm looking forward to a goofy non-race in Mexico that weekend.

I'll do your ride if the Mexico plans fall through though...

    Forgot about that:
    http://www.chupacabras100km.com/

2 endurance mountain bike events the same weekend.

First weekend of October is ACL (TPWD Expo would be 1st weekend as well but has been canceled)

Third weekend is Tour de Fat.

October is just a good time to have events when the temps finally get down to a nice level.

I tried to make sure nothing was going on in Austin (mountain bike wise) and no TMBRA races. In the end there will always be a conflict and people will just have to choose what they want to do.

We at the Enchilada Buffet headquarters are thinkering as much as we can on a few "adjustments" to the course. Stay tuned. Just realize that it will be no shorter than last year. For sure it will be longer and steeper.
