Hey sorry if this sounds derpy but lets make sure we get our water stage all set up. I'm going to totally be dependent on that to get through the ride. I can bring a bag of ice to throw in it, or we keep an ice chest separate, because i think it's important that we rehydrate AND cool off too mid-ride. keep a few cool cloths in there, maybe food so we dont have to carry so much.

How far in is the water stage? Just curious. Only been there once.
There is no water stage - I will talk with Jamie to see if he's willing to drive up the road and stash a five gallon cooler, which I can bring with me.

    Sure!

I will bring water containers and some random goodies for lunch.

If you've got the water coolers, I'll bring a small chest of ice.

At a minimum, we can easily stage water at the far end of the main loop. We can stage water a a few other spots along the trail without too much trouble. If Jamie can do it for us, all the better.

I can bring a couple 3-5 gallon containers.

What time do I need to be ready? 7 ish?

I can bring a 5 gallon cooler for the far end. I know where to drop it if need be.
Don't think I saved your address, re-sending it might be a good idea. You may even PM it if you must. ;-)
Once we hit 183 it'll be a short quick drive, I promise.

Charlie, I spoke with Jamie and he is happy to drop water off wherever we want it. I was thinking Road Crossing #2 - it's pretty central to everything, no matter which route you take - but I will defer to your greater knowledge of the trails! Maybe also drop some at Road Crossing #4, for those who do the Upper and then the Lower loops?

Anybody from the WC area or RR/Plugerville going? I'm 90% in if I can carpool. I've got a hitch rack or I can take 2 others in my vehicle.

I'm going also! I know that your bike will fit in my Fit - cause PairOdime's big Intense fit in the Fit on a trip to Reimers. I do plan to stay a bit late though.

Also TAF - do you have room for me.....say Loco goes with Jerry?

Agree on Crossing #2. It's the one on the road up to the cross. Easy to get to in by car and central to the trail system. The saddle would be another good spot. Further up the hill where many cut off to do the DH.
