Closest gauges show 0.11in, down to 0.06in. Curious if based on its state yesterday if it would be rideable today. I bet it is but I'll let the experts chime in.

I'm 2 miles north. It's currently misting here. Gotta think the rocks are gonna be treacherous.

Yeah, I just stuck my toe outside and the lawn/patio are wet. I would think the slick stuff would be, well, like...slick...

I guess it's bike maintenance morning

It was pretty perfect today. The dirt had "Hero" in its name.

^What he said. Pretty much perfect today. The north wind dried out the rocks. The temp was excellent. Tires were clean after ride.

They were at the skate park 10-4 yesterday but that's the only date I saw for austin on their website.

Hope y'all soaked in this effing WEATHER somewhere today. These perfect riding days are numbered if not over. Then we head to the SOUL SUCKING humid morning or HOT evening summer rides. Woooo...excited, except not really.

I took it on for sure. Busted my ass going up the ledge on mulligan though. Is there a strategy for that portion or do I just suck?

Casey and I went and popped my BCGB cherry on some properly chunky shit.. of course he saved the gnarliest section of the day for the very end when my legs were gone.. beesterd. But the weather was amazing.

Yup, one of those days where the bike refuses to be loaded back on the truck

When I was out there today I couldn't locate the rock at all. Looks like whoever is moving it has gotten serious. That thing has to be 50-80 lb.

I didn't move it...have never touched it but I gotta admit, I was pleasantly surprised to see it was gone while riding E to W yesterday. Made the step and kinda chuckled. I'm sure it's tough going W to E. I didn't have enough energy to stop and turn around to try.

Since the subject came up, I did it once E-W and twice W-E with no problem. The 1st time W-E, I was on the SS and had forgotten, so I just rolled it like I would have with the rock there... no danger, just not graceful. The 2nd time a little lift did the trick. It doesn't matter to me either way.

Yeah I don't remember it being a huge deal W-E...but the only way I do W-E is an out n back. Haven't done that in 3 years now. Slightly depressing, but I'll get over it.
