Freakin Texas...I'm probably a few miles from you, and we didn't enough to get the Beagles soaked.

I'm about 2mi north and we just got a few sprinkles yesterday evening if that helps. I know I'm hoping for a ride tonight.

I might just grab the SS and head down to check it out. My "ride" yesterday was a bust anyway.

I rode this AM and the trail is perfect. It hasn't rained in the area today and looks like it may hold out through tomorrow morning.

If someone could give me an update on the trails that'd be appreciated. I'm in Wichita Falls for Hotter n Hell and would like to keep the twitter feed accurate.

That picture was taken right at the end of my ride (6pm) and the trails were bone dry up to that point. Not sure how long that rain burst lasted though. Looked like there was a few riders waiting it out to possibly still get a ride in though. If anything, the rocks/roots are probably slick at this point.

Thanks for the report. Gonna try and get one more in here before the Cone of uncertainty becomes a certainty.

People up here are preparing for the end of the world. If you live along a waterway, ok. I definitely see the concern, but people are prepping for gas shortages, looting, water depletion, electricity outages for days on end. 🙄

I think the concern for supplies is more about the influx of evacuees than being shut in by the storm.

If only. 24hrs of news needs an equal amount of hype.

Having lived through several hurricanes in the galveston area, ive learned that as long as im not on the coast, everything else is manageable.
