Well, now with all this negative talk looks like I'll have to settle with shredding my liver all day.

Went down to look at the trails, they are wetter than I've seen them in a couple of years. The ground is completely saturated. It's going to take at least 3 days of no rain to be dry enough to ride.

It was only my second time out there. Can anyone point me to the most up-to-date map? Right now I'm parking at the skate park, heading toward the paved trail, then veering off and doing Mulligan, back to the paved trail, then off again to the left where the sign says "new entrance" or whatever. That eventually splits to go to either Quarter Notch or Double Down. I chose Quarter Notch the first time, which then lead me to Picnic. Then I rode something that starts under Parmer that was flowy/twisty and not technical at all (what's that called?).

Fun trail. I ride Walnut 90% of the time and need to get to Brushy more.
How do you feel brushy compares to walnut vis a vis difficulty?

Walnut easy. Brushy hard. Walnut fast. Brushy technical.

I've heard it's about a Quarter Notch harder.

Brushy doesn't seem to be as focused on parking orientation as walnut

You’ve been deceived. It’s no picnic. You’ll want a mulligan after that rim job.

At first glance, my brain processed this as "the dirt is editable"... that too. Now, go forth and edit dirt.

Beagle's are on Holiday today. There's a work party on Peddlers this evening, maybe one of them can stand in for the Beagle and bark out a trail report
