This is a vid Ganderson shot from our AZ trip last week. He used a small wearable 3-axis gimble to follow me:

Here is the 2nd run, this time I'm following him, without a gimble:

Personally, as a mtb'er, I think the direct-mount (no gimble) is a little more "fun" for a 1st person perspective and feeling like you are on the bike, but when it comes to watching the person in front of you, there is absolutely no contest! It is also much more viewer friendly for non-mtb'ers that may be watching. I ordered a 3-axis today...

Haha, nope, no one lost their home in storms this time. Greg jacked his foot on the first day, and it was swollen pretty bad by the next morning, so he chilled and shuttled me for a run on Holbert (the really technical one we rode last time). This time I started all the way at the top of Holbert, where it meets National; it was a really good ride, despite the Saturday hikers:

Day 1 from the Return of the Zombie Goat Enduro, my first 'paid' film/video gig, ha! Kinda using that term loosely here, hehe

Nice video. Tough keeping the lens dry but the footage was smooth and really showed some speed. Like the last cactus drop too. Well done!

That was one hell of a slippery day and now I want to visit Flat Rock. I loved how hoodie guy totally proved me wrong and didn't slow.

If you're referring to grey hoodie in front of me going down Slalom, that was from pre-ride day because my POV footage from race day was crap due to lens getting wet/foggy.

That being said, we both shredded slalom much faster on race day than we did on pre-ride

Yep! I took an excellent write up by Richard Drew and combined it with the video. Presented it to Pinkbike and they put it on front page this morning

Another race, another video. Unfortunately, new to this race was me breaking a rib during pre-ride so no racing for me

Since there are a few Youtubers posting on this thread, I'm going to post this up for your thoughts, or just FYI... I got an email today that monetization had been removed from this video:

    For the following reason:
Your video isn't being monetized because it contains content that might not be appropriate for advertising.
To monetize a video, your video content, metadata, and thumbnail must be advertiser-friendly.
Think your video meets this criteria? You can have it reviewed for monetization again.

Here are the "Advertiser-friendly content guidelines":
    https://support.google.com/youtube/answer/6162278?hl=en

So, all that my wife and I can figure is that it has something to do with the title, "Sweaty Shorts"... lol. I'm guessing maybe there's a bot or something that doesn't consider context or puns (sweaty bike shorts/sweating in short videos), but even in the most inappropriate sense, it's still nothing compared to some of the stuff that I've seen others post for clicks... Anyway, keep this in mind when you pick seemingly innocent titles...

I guess I'll change the feature to "Dusty Shorts", or something, but I have other videos with the same title that haven't been de-monetized.

Came across this great video and story that felt like a much needed departure from the constant barrage of POV videos streaming the airwaves.

Haha I can never get enough of your videos buddy. You do a great job editing clips into short videos to share your experiences. What I'm referring to are the lengthy videos from Nate Hills, BKXC, and the like. While they do exhibit some great trails and great riding, after a few minutes of watching those all I want to do is go ride my bike.

So what your saying is Seth does not make you want to ride bikes?
