Jeff’s a really tall and strong dude. He used to be the bunny hop world record holder. Saw him at a demo on a bike giveaway here right before he shot the Emma video. I KNOW I’m a mere mortal in comparison.

Lenosky made City Park look like a stroll in the park in that video. I don't think he even used a dropper.

Ok, I admit, I predated this era (we were just Stingrays, hadn't become BMX) but it soooo reminded me of childhood.

    How can I not share?

I'd like to see an unedited lap with him not stopping from being blown up from the brake stand trials moves.

It was great to see the trail featured, but almost no one is going to ride the trail like that and it may not be the fastest/best way to ride it. I say almost no one because those are world class trials moves up those ledges he is doing where you average strong rider is going to power up those climbs. Oh and "lots of traction when wet" .... HA

    Love his other videos.

Well yeah, the channel isn't called "trails ridden by an average rider". The whole point is to watch him do crazy moves that the average riders don't on their local trails. That's like watching Rampage and saying "pssh come on that's not how the average strong rider would ride that cliff..."

I think you completely missed the point. Watching someone hop up a staircase is not exciting. I'd rather see strong rider blast up it and then keep going. No one said anything about an average rider. your average rider is going to try to climb that, Dab, walk their bike and chat with their buddies at the top.

You cant compare his videos to rampage. I like his other videos a lot.

Last time I was out there, I did a lot of "inconvenient hiking".

Great share - appreciate it! Makes me think about how much times have changed. Today kids can't leave the house without helmet, sunscreen, and vitamin water. Back then we just hopped on our bikes and headed out. If we got thirsty, we found somebody's hose on the side of their house. I remember growing up in Detroit and ending up at Derby Hill with my buddies on bikes. The hill was famous for sledding in the winter and soapbox derby in the summer, but on that day we were just out joy riding on our bikes. Of course our parents had no idea we were there because we didn't even know we would end up there. One of my friends ended up crashing bad and got carted off in an ambulance, but even that didn't deter us from further adventures. As an adult I've never given my kids the same freedoms and for good reason, but it is amazing to think back on how "wild" I was as a child and that I actually survived.

Good perspective - nothing negative really. I suspect with his skills and conditioning he could ride the entire trail fast with minimum dabbing, but you're right, there's no way to really know without an unedited version. Maybe for every trail he covers on his Trail Boss series he should also post his lap time via Strava on an unedited run.

That's the kind of memories I thought of when I watched this. I recently had my 40 year class reunion, and there were several of my old classmates that I went through grade school with, that we all rode bicycles and motorcycles together....the first thing we would say to each other all night was.. "damn, how are we still alive?"

    Thanks for sharing, Thomas!

Exactly. There's a chute type of hill with a drop to enter it near my grandparents old house that I would ride my coaster brake 24" kids bike down. You had to land that first drop perfectly or it was cartwheel city down the chute. I'd do it now, but that's with my mid travel modern full sus bike. Doing it back then was admittedly stupid but we did it anyways and laughed about it. Good times.
