Ha, thanks! Reading through this thread I saw both ATX Bikes and Cycle Werks mentioned. Going to try and make it out soon.

Texas Cycle Werks has rides on both Tuesday and Thursday. They have a good friendly group. They will stop at a restaurant/bar after their rides.

The ride that meets at ATX Bikes on Tuesday is the world famous Crank and Drank. The apres drinking for that happens in the parking lot.

Have we started on a VCT bypass between walgreens and boulder, and if so how can I help?

Yes, this last work they did on the climb up to Walgreens just shows that an alternate route will have to be done. I don't think it will have to go to Boulder though. Probably just down in to the vicinity of the Little Hump.

I think he's referring to the space between Slaughter Creek and Walgreens. the trail that leads south from Walgreens is pretty chewed up.

Snakes are EVERYWHERE in this area. If you think snakes are not on _________ (fill in the blank), you are kidding yourself.

Most of the time, they will stay hidden and you will never see them. That does not mean they are not there. If you want to find some place with few(er) snakes, look for a place with lots of rodents. And know when the rodent population drops - the snakes are back.

So this is weird but...anyone find some fox shorts out there after Tuesday’s ride? I changed at my car near the Clinic and cannot find my shorts. Impressive and sad at the same time. If anyone has any info on the wearbouts of my shorts, please contact me via pm.
