I didnít see anyone all day and the trail was 100% not dry enough to ride today. I have Wednesday afternoon off and will probably go down there and work again if anyone is interested in meeting me.

Looking at tomorrow's weather it looks like Wednesday would be a good day for trail work.

Did you tell them? Get their plates? Make/model of bike? Don't you want a C.O.P. shirt?

Progress or completion? Can we ride (heading north) from the old beginning of the bridges to the gate now?

The bridges are still rideable, till the ladies attack again, but there is an alt line marked by the signs pictured.

I couldn't wait to see it, so I walked in today. What else is there to do with the rain and mud going on?

Most excellent good good happy fun time! Way bigger in scope than what I thought. Adds good "mileage" and a couple of interesting features. For real, very, very good.

I don't know how, but walking north I missed the left turn to the entrance (bottom picture). Probably because I assumed that the new stuff started in the creek bed closer to the bridge. I did see the right turn for the north entrance when I headed back south though. So I made that south entrance left turn much more apparent.

The reroute still doesn't cure my problem of not being able to do the huge rock feature on the north end though! lol

I was meaning to ask about that. Simply put I can't ride that, and have never seen anybody even try. I have herd it can be done, but I don't know if I even believe it. I was thinking since the reroute keeps you off the ledge anyways it seems like simply making a trail in the creek bed all the way to the GOM might be a good way to protect that feature now that it's potentiality more accessible. I still wanna rebuild and reinforce the original line, but it'll be nice to have another option when I'm just trying to get through there.

I certainly wouldn't complain if there was a route down lower.

That whole thing makes a good loop when you use it with Poke Eye Man.

I rode yesterday and everything was very rideable. One or two wet spots, so I wasn't super confident on corners, but it was all good to go.

I just took a hike with my family on 45. I found a tube on the side of the trail. If you can identify something unique about it, I'll get it back to you.

Mine. The tube has a small hole in it and is black.

Ok. 2 really small holes. You might miss it. And all holes are black, btw so black. And it's used for a bicycle. I just can't give you more description without giving away too much information. There are tube thieves amongst us.

    Nope

It's a brand new tube, so stop guessing how many holes in it! And yes, it's black and made of rubber, so don't go there either.

Is it connected to a new pair of Nox composites crabon wheels with turquoise ano'd Onyx hubs with matching spoke nipples?
