Apparently someone has already dug a hole for you on dripdrop so can I just bring some lime?

Ignore Bart. That's what I do.
I was trailing the group and remember passing 2-3 riders coming southbound - your group. I don't remember seeing anyone up on the sidewalk so I believe you it was a GPS fart. But now knowing where we passed you...huh? I mean, huh? How did we almost run you over? I was giving you the benefit of the doubt picturing some skinny, handlebars length away. I was actually feeling a little guilty. But Huh? You could drive a tractor trailer through that section. We 7 guys could have all been holding hands all in a row singing bar ballads and there would have still been plenty of room for you to pass. Not that singing bar ballads has anything to do with the size of the trail but I think it's funny picturing those guys singing bar ballads while holding hands. What were we talking about?
- "Go over the rock, go around the rock. Don't MOVE the rock!"
- "Because trees don't travel 75 miles per hour."
- "Enjoying nature...at a higher rate of speed."
And to go along with all the fun on Mojo yesterday, here is some more fun -
So this appeared on our neighborhood FB page today:
------------------------------------------
There is literally a man going #2 in the greenbelt (Stephenson) behind my house. Older male, white long sleeve shirt at the intersection of where Longview Park and the preserve meet. I have photos. WTH?
Update: He just rode off on a bicycle with red helmet and athletic wear. Must've had to go real bad. I can't believe no one walked up on him as that is a heavily trafficked area. This is very weird.
-------------------------------------------
I hope this was not one of us. If you really have to go, at least get away from houses and such where you can be seen. And since he left on a bicycle you can be sure that it was "those nasty mountain bikers". Let's try to be good citizens.
I wonder how many dogs were simultaneously shitting all over that park at the same moment.
Ahhhh the good ol days. I remember getting shredded on my first post bashing Gov't Canyon for dropping the hammer on my bumper teathered dog back in the day. She was chilling at the car while we rode for about an hour but I got KILLED on this forum until I asked the mods to have mercy and pull the thread. Good thing I already knew them through TMBRA and stuff. (Wish I didn't for posterity.) Anyways, I may have found your problemYou said you ride exclusively trails. If you get out and really push on the pavement a bit, next time you are in a group you will have upped your game. The nature of road riding lends to having more speed and power when you get back on the trails.

Don't forget to stop and smell the Rosemary.
People expect to see dogs shitting. Those same people get upset when they see a person doing the same thing. I'm pretty sure they won't throw the dogs out. But this may be the excuse they can use to put up fences to keep bikes out.
Keep in mind what I asked was for people to get off the trail and away from other people if they really have to go.
I'm cancelling this afternoon's trail ride. Too wet. Go get bored on the veloway.

Beginning to end and back that is a solid time I think. I don't know my best time i hit a deer. As for social rides, maybe you should come to the races. You basically compete against yourself to finish and it's impossible to get lostReimers next weekend. Only $35 https://www.bikereg.com/32803

Just to be clear, I wear a GREEN helmet.
I just got back into town. My rain gauge has almost three inches in it. I am assuming that we are out of business for a couple of days at least?
That's been my experience. Hopefully everything will be dry for the Bowie MTB team's scavenger hunt fundraiser Saturday afternoon... but I suspect there will be some bad spots left. There's still heavy rains in the forecast until Thursday. C&D should be clear next Tuesday and hopefully, I'll finally ride with them.
If anyone is part of the fundraiser it would be great if you'd keep us in the loop if there's a postponement.

The coaches finalized the map last night and it's good. We did have to, with reluctance, remove the tijuana bar checkpoint ... kids will be there, after all. We'll post here and on EventBrite if there are changes. Thanks!

As long as she was not on a mountain bike, I don't care. I would not have stopped either. In legal terms, there is no 'reasonable expectation of privacy' if you are on or next to the trail. That is considered a public space.
Did I mention anything about getting off the trail????
Just did a little test ride.
CC Metro good. Dick Nick good. The little bit of Veloway I did, good.
The usual warnings of course, but I had a good ride.
Deer Park Run was not good though. That was the only place that I was throwing mud. Maybe this afternoon? I didn't even try Mopac.
Do it!
