Church Hill is still a tiny bit dampish at the bottom, but is not even seeping and is mostly dry at the top. However, the connector trails referenced above have high clay content and a lot of shade and are always the last to dry out.

And a semi-flaccid middle finger to the guy who went screaming down the big dip under the power lines and yelled at me to watch out in an "incoming!" kind of way, and then I got the venturi effect from whatever sound system he had which was blasting whatever kind of music he thought was awesome. Not a terrible person, but annoying.
    Thanks June Bug!

I'm curious about other trails in the area as well, not just Walnut. Would like to ride some dirt tomorrow.

an inch plus in the last two days and a humid partly cloudy Monday. Any thoughts on Tuesday conditions?

I'm curious too. I honestly feel like it could be completely good to go by Tuesday afternoon. It just depends on whether or not the rain washed away all the moondust or turned it all to mud.

The ground was so dry it could easily soak all that moisture up if it didn't immediately runoff in to the creek. While it will be humid today, the clouds are supposed to clear and it's supposed to be bright and sunny all day tomorrow. Giving it 24hrs from now will make a big difference in the conditions out there. It would be helpful to get a first hand report though.

If I can find the time this evening I could maybe venture over there. No promises.

If only! I'll try to give it a shot late this afternoon. Got stuff going on from early in the morning on Tuesday until about 2 pm; however, if today's recon is ambiguous, I'll give it another shot around 3 pm on Tuesday. Unless someone else posts up.

I was amazed how quickly things were GTG after the last rain event.

I am with you, things were so dry last week that I would be willing to bet on it being rideable. Hoping the answer is yes.

.6 loop was just a pile of dirt clod marbles in the turns. Super dry and cracking.

I walked Inner Log this evening. Still soft in some spots, but not mud. Should be much drier and GTG by tomorrow evening.

I rode log loop late this evening and it was perfect. Dry and chalky still/already in spots.

Point 6 was a little more damp but was fine and will be perfect for Tuesday evening.

    Y'all enjoy.

I tried to ride some of it yesterday as I saw other people out there riding it. Still was too wet in my opinion. Ended up riding out to duval and back a couple of times.

Currently raining at Lamar and Airport.

Just dumped on us up here in Georgetown. Doubt it will be good.

Yesterday morning was 95% awesome, with a few scattered wet spots that were mostly avoidable. Than about an hour after I rode, the rain started. We got dumped on pretty good as the afternoon went on. Might be good again by the weekend if the rain ends today like they are saying.
