    2010 Santa Cruz Nomad

The time has come to sell the Santa Cruz Nomad. It's got some crash scars, but everything is cosmetic only. It is not an efficient climber, but it is sure-footed and will pedal up just about anything. It has few rivals however in descending, rock gardens, and big drops and those rivals don't go uphill near as well. Trade out the tires for something lighter and it becomes a very effective trail/all-mountain bike. Current config weight as a gravity-hound is north of 36 lbs, but I've run a light weight 1x crank with XC wheels and Ikons and had it down to 27lbs. The bike will handle a wide range of disciplines based on how you have it set up component wise.

It has been serviced at Bicycle Sport Shop and at Texas Cycle Werks. It has around 2,000 miles on it almost all at local trails. I bought it new at Bicycle Sport Shop.

All 2010 frame and parts unless noted:
Santa Cruz Nomad, medium frame, aluminum, 1.5 headtube, recent bearing service
Fox DHX Air 5.0 rear shock, 160mm travel
Fox 36 fork, 160mm travel, Float, FIT, 20mm thru-axle, just rebuilt
Hammerschmidt AM crankset (2 ratios, one chain-ring) 22/35, new seals
    Hammerschmidt bottom bracket
Thompson seatpost (the long one for better strength), 30.9
    A generic seat, it works
    FSA Gravity headset
Easton Havoc 60mm stem, 5 degree rise
    Easton Havoc wheelset, recently trued
Maxxis Ardent DH 2.4 tires, low mileage
    Maxxis DH tubes
Truvativ Holzfeller DH riser bars, uncut, 30.9
    Intense bolt-on grips, almost new
Hayes StrokerAce quad-piston brakes with 203/180 rotors, recent service
SRAM X9 shifter for the Hammerschmidt
SRAM x7 rear shifter and derailleur, almost new, 10spd
Santa Cruz quick release seatpost clamp
    New Sram 10spd cassette
New Sram 10spd chain with quicklink
    New shift cables

$2900 cash only, negotiable. PM me

What's up dude? It's been a while - have you sold this and did you get something new?
