    Park Professional Bike Tools

Years ago I used to own a bicycle shop. When I closed the shop, I hung onto most of my tools - partly because I thought I would use them again and partly because they were just cool. Seven years later, we are getting ready to move and I have come to the realization that it doesn't make sense for me to hang onto these any more. These are all Park, professional-grade tools. Most of these have seen some use, but some haven't been used at all. All are in excellent condition. I'd much rather sell them as a set, but I will consider selling them individually if no one is interested in the whole lot.

I did a little research on retail prices, so I'm going to list the tools using the following format:

    Model #/Description/Retail price/Asking price

    HTR-1/Head Tube Reaming & Facing Set/$495/$200

    BFS-1/Bottom Bracket Facing Set/$360/$150

    BTS-1/Bottom Bracket Tapping & Facing Set/$600/$250

DT-1/Disc Mount Facing Tool/(Discontinued, but $300 is a safe bet for retail price)/$125

    CRC-1/Crown Race Cutting Tool/$485/$190

    CRS-1/Crown Race Setting System/$75/$30

    CRS-15/Crown Race Setting System/$75/$30

    FTS-1/Fork Threading Set/$256/$100

    FFS-2/Frame, Fork, & Handlebar Straightener/$87/$35

    FAG-2/Frame Alignment Guide/$52/$20

    PTS-1/Tire Seater/$49/$20

    ISC-1/Internal Seat Tube Clamp/(Discontinued)/$20

    BT-5/Third Hand Brake Tool/(Discontinued)/$10

Retail price for the group is over $3000. If someone would like to buy all of it, I'll let it go for $1000.

When you are a man, sometimes you wear stretchy pants in your room. It's for fun.

Not knowing what any of these things are, you've have only increased my insecurities stemming from my in-ability to wrench. I hope you are happy now.
    Good luck.

Don't worry, cramsay3, most of these are pretty obscure things that even a shop might only need a few times a year...

Managed to sell a few things, here's what's left:

    BFS-1/Bottom Bracket Facing Set/$360/$150

DT-1/Disc Mount Facing Tool/(Discontinued, but $300 is a safe bet for retail price)/$125

    CRS-1/Crown Race Setting System/$75/$30

    FFS-2/Frame, Fork, & Handlebar Straightener/$87/$35

    FAG-2/Frame Alignment Guide/$52/$20

I never realized that bike shop tools cost so much. Where are you buying these - off the Snap-On truck??
