    Recon Rack Bike Rack

    2014 Recon Bike Rack

    Manufacturer website:
    Recon Rack Co

This is a heavy duty bike rack that is built to hold 4 bikes of any tire size from 24" to 29".

Personally I have used it for 26, 27.5 and 29" tire sizes with no problems.

This rack is built for extreme conditions and long distance travel.

I ordered this one with an upgraded upright support and the ability to pivot.

    Pros:
    Very heavy duty.
Very stable with any load of bikes.
Holds 4 bikes with no chance of damage to the bikes.
It is hand made out of steel and powder coated.
Rack can be used as a bike stand when attached to vehicle (see photo)
Can be used on SUVs as rack tilts down allowing rear access.

    Cons:
This thing is heavy and bulky with installing or removing from the vehicle.
There is a tiny bit of surface rust in areas where the powder coat is not very thick.

YOU WILL NEED TO BRING YOUR OWN HITCH PIN.

    Asking $550
