The Judy Ruby fork - remember that

I seem to recall about 5 or so years ago Rock Shox made a road fork that had like 1" of travel and a lockout. Remember this thing?

Anybody still use / buy these things or were they some temporary figment of some marketing weasel's imagination?

I think it made an appearance at a Paris-Roubaix or two.

    Just for thoughts sake.

I remember them, IIRC the UCI deemed them illegal also, for racing at least.

Didn't they make something called the 'Metro', too? I think those are still out there on some of the 700c 'comfort' bikes.

Cannondale also made a headshock equiped road/cross bike called the 'Silk' or something similar.

i remember talking to a person who rode the silk, and said it was very strange to have the front end "active" while cornering quickly ... too sketchy for their tastes

Didn't they just use C-Dale Silks in Paris-Roubaix?

Here's a shot of a Saeco rider in last week's Paris-Roubaix. Note headshock.
