    Question New track on I-10?

I was on my way back to Houston when I saw a track outside Marion, between Marion & Seguin. Anyone know anything about that? They had motorcycles on it when I went by, but a sign said "BMX TRack". All so, is the old BMX track in Schertz still up? It was off of FM 78 where the old drive in movie theatre used to be.

I can't think of the name of the new MX track out there, my neighbors go and ride it. Swan Creek maybe? It is on 10 and it's the one you are talking about. I have no idea about Schertz.

Cool deal. What do you know about it? I toy around on a BMX freestyle bike when I'm just chillin' out and don't want to tackle the trails or the road. I'd be kinda interested in jumps and stuff. Cost out there? Hours?

I'll see what he scoop is from the neighbor. He only does the moto x but he may know what the BMX does also.

I saw the same thing. I asked James Ballentine over at Bike Heaven who does a lot of BMX and he didn't know it was BMX. Thought it was only Motocross, so I thought I just read it wrong. Must be a new thing.

It may be just moto X and I read BMX into out of ecstacy or something. I don't see what it would hurt if they opened it for BMX every now and then. I'll check it out on my way back later this month. If it's BMX, I'd be out there with my cousin. I ride a freestyle BMX bike, but it's got nobies on it . Just in case I have to hit the trail in haste you know....

I went with James to the bmx track off Babcock(?) and got schooled. I rode my 45 lbs dh bike and could only clear about 3 of the jumps. I just bought a Kona Scab to do that kind of stuff.
