    Toeing in brake pads

I was doing a routine check of my bike and noticed that the front brake pads are angled "in". I loosened them up, but there doesn't seem to be a pivot to adjust them in or out. I've got 105 brake calipers. Any suggestions in order to straighten them out?

the front of the pads are angled cause road bike brakes have the "toe in" in the caliper.

the brake is applied and the wheel twists the pads and caliper a bit forward and bam! the pads hit parallel to the rim.

some road brakes have an adjustment for "toe in" that's independent of the caliper. not too many though.

Thanks Carlos. The only reason I posted is because upon inspecting my other road bike, it didn't look that extreme (i.e. noticeable). I don't feel any brake problems, just curious as to why it was such.

no problem. yeah the toe in isn't too bad but like you said, noticable.

some bikes have the holders that can be adjusted..Coda i think. but most do not. saves time on setup. all you have to do is line up the pad and the arms do the rest.
