    wheel seams

I have an older pair of road wheels. They're decent, but the front one, when braking, gives a noticeable tick when I apply the brakes. Any way to smooth this out? Sandpaper? Put something on the rim to fill in the small gap in the metal?

sanding will be the way to go. light sanding.

but try and see if you can sand just that edge rather than the brake track.

    a small file will help.
