    King headset installation

    I've done an aheadset with the little shim but i didnt get one of those with the king. Can somebody briefly explain the king installation?

    little shim?

    here's everything you'll need from the masters of machine.....ing.

    headset install

    make sure you get the base plate/headset race smacked down as far as it will go. you shouldn't be able to see day light between it and the fork crown.

    also, use the plastic scuff washer.

    and....make sure, as a nice touch, that one of the "KING" prints on each cup faces forward.

    also, check the little rolled up sheet that came with the headset to make sure you have all the parts of the headset. if anything is missing.......raise hell.

    That's a cool spacer setup. Yeah, and like Carlos said, make sure they send you all the tootin parts. I ordered one and there was a part missing and it came in a little dope baggie with no literature. Kinda made me suspicious so I called and sure enough, no top ring thing.

    toonces, thanks, those are the WCS colors. just thought i'd be kinda cool to have something match the headbadge.

    you can also call king who always has parts on hand.
