This sounds great, but what are the 40 or so racing divisions? If we TT on River Rd., don't we need to classify riders as Merckx or Aero, estimated average speed, age in 5 year increments, weight in 10# increments and right or left handed rider? (I'm sure I forgot about a few classifications - Clay) How will every third "racer" win a division? If you're not uber-dividing up the groups, will there be a participation ribbon?

    :-)

Seriously Chris - thank you for hosting this event. There are lots of folks looking forward to it.

P.S. Don't mind Murph's comment. It's good that you started your own thread because nobody reads his posts.

Don’t entice Clay, he’s out of town and away from his computer, I’m sure his ears are burning and he’s having withdrawals from not being able to reply.

But then, no one is going to read this....

Now THAT's fast! Maybe some of our local strongmen can show up next week and challenge them... Allen? Colt? Rick? Jojo?

I'd suggest two of them on a tandem (not to suggest that any of those dudes are "that way" - and not that there's anything wrong with that if they are).

    Halfway through the TT series!

Steve Waters has already won 2 races and reached his limit on prizes. Whoever starts winning will start receiving the winning prizes.
Don't forget there is also a 6 week prize for the entire series.

Don't miss out on this opportunity!!

    What a glutton.

Hey Steve. You're fast. We get it already.

13 miles will take me approx. 40-45 minutes or so (hopefully). I probably can make it to registration just before 6pm tonight or will that be too late?

It ain't much if it ain't dutch!

No problem at 6 PM. I thnk they will let you start as late as 6:30, maybe 7? This is a great benchmark to race against yourself under consistent conditions. Bring $7, they give you a number/chip, you start when you are ready. The turn around is about 1.5 miles past 3rd crossing, marshall and cone marks the turn. Good luck.
