It’s official! BikeHouston announces the 31st annual Houston Moonlight Ramble!!

You’ll never find a more fun bike ride than this. The Ramble is at 2 am Sunday Oct. 12, 2003 at the George R. Brown….that’s Saturday night into Sunday morning. You can select a quick 10-mile lap around Houston, which takes you to the Heights and back downtown. Or, you can go the more adventurous 20-mile route, which takes you down Allen Parkway, through River Oaks, under the 610 Loop, to Northwest Mall, through the Heights and back downtown.

The Moonlight Ramble occurs on the Saturday of the first full moon in October. Because the ride is close to Halloween, many people wear costumes. So, don’t be afraid to show up in your clown suit, Dracula costume or flaming red wig! Just be sure to wear a helmet and have a bike light – these two safety items are mandatory.
