Where should I ride Friday 10/3?

I have the day off and few chores, so I get a couple of hrs to devote to riding. I've been riding Jack Brooks Park, but MP and the Anthills are next on my list to try. Multiple questions follow:

Will MP be full of pedestrians and horses on a Friday morning?

Is there a magic time to hit it where someone else will have taken down the spider webs but I won't be pulling over for hikers every 20yds?

Recommended route for a "medium" loop on MP? I'd like to be able to do 2 laps (1 to learn, 1 to work out) if I can.

Should I just keep driving west and try Anthills 1st?

Thanks for any input. If anyone else is riding tomorrow I'm always looking for someone to follow.

Personal preference for me, I like MP. The spiders aren't near as bad there as what you get at Jack Brooks. Friday mornings won't be all that bad. You could probably ride from 8:00 until 11:00 with little contact with other trail users. A few cross country runners and a squirrel guardian or two at worst.

MP has a good mixture of technical stuff like various trails around TX just on a smaller scale (i.e shorter climbs) but also has some flat twisty stuff to get cadence and practice handling.

Anthills is still cool but MP would seem to be closer for you to allow for more bike time and would have more people near by should you need some unexpected help.

    Thanks y'all

I agree, Snoop, I'd rather spend my time riding than driving. I found a map of MP and read some reviews. It looks like there's plenty of variety.

Right now it looks like I'll hit it around 9 or 10am. If anyone else wants to ride, lemme know.

I agree with Mutha too (or else she will whip me) that you should try and get out to Lake Bryan when all of the pre-riders are out on Saturday and ride that course. It is a great set of trails, drops, and twisty stuff. Flow is great.
