and then you wonder why your posts get deleted...this WHOLE mOjO site is LAME LAME LAME too many poll's too many stupid where are you riding today threads, too many happy birthday whomever, too many i lost my job have a pitty party for me threads, too many i'm tired of my crappy job in austin threads, too many how do you wipe your ass threads, too many i broke this part on my bike thread, too many gay ass 14 lines of signatures, too many some obscure motherfucker died and now the whole forum must mourn, too many look at my new pet thrreads, to many weak ass political topics, too many assinine useless posts back when i was a "lurker" when this forum started the folks on here were a hoot but in the last few years it's slowly morphed into some feely good P.C. forum and when ever some a-hole come sin to stir up the shit he gets gang tackled by the tissue paper feelings patrol

now i'm not saying that the ol' smacksite dosen't have it's fair share of bullshit over there but this place is over the top on crappy posts. in the last week the ONLY ones that was worth a shit was the Heart Rate monitor thread and the Gearing thread on the cyclocross forum...

the problem is that 90% of the mojo's are in central texas and Dallas has the DORBA forum and we in h-town have the smacksite so it's hard to judge the personalities of folks that we don't even know or how they are going to react to replys i've gotten my fair share of "i'm gonna kick your ass" PM's on this and on the smack forum form folks i have no earthly idea who they are WTF??

the running joke on the smacksite is that the majority of the mojo's are pussies (just look at any of the potos in the gallerys) and i/we have invited ya'll over there many many many times but it seems that the kinder mojo's don't get our brand of verbally abusive humor. toonces, Car!os and chief visit from time to time and stir things up but thats about it. BTW we don't CHARGE to become a member !!!!

loco-gringoswhen you comming to houston? i should have my FS bike put back together and if i can find out why my SS bike threw a chain??? going up a climb last sunday maybe i'll bring it out to play too. i'll introduce you to the smackers and you'll see that were all about. what area of town are you staying in? have you been to houston before? where have you ridden? right now the anthills are in excellent shape and so is memorial parq. if you want a real SS work out maybe Mel can introduce you to Andy and we'll bring out our teamsmack SS stud Pete Stewart those two came in 1st and 2nd in the state SS championship you'll be crying for mercy real soon

This was actually quite entertaining. Not sure where we are staying. I assume downtown. It is the weekend of LakeLake so I am sure I will go there on Saturday. I'll be there Sat, Sun, and Mon that weekend. I don't know that I can hang with reall single speeders, but I will try. Will be bringing the skinny bike too. I look forward to meeting up with folks. Not to ignore the smack, but I try to keep up with here, dorba, and ridemonkey, along with work. I don't think the baylor folks think we are as funny as we do, so I feel your pain.

the smacksite was just an offshoot of the TMBRA forum back in the day 1998 the TMBRA forum was just folks complaining about land access fees, greedy promoters and how it took 45min. for the results to be posted type of shit.

a few of us started talking shit about the weekend rides and races and how someone sucked so bad that your grandmother on a rusted huffy with two flats could climb faster up fat chucks...

it soon got to the point of major flame wars and the TMBRA powers that be thought it was bad for the sponsers $$$ to see a bunch of monkeys throwing shit around all day and closed us down...

therfore the SmaCK site was born we get alotta lurkers but not many posters and then some seem to just come in for a few months then dissapear because they don't get " It " or something else. however the best was the guy that came on the smacksite got hooked on MTBing bought a fancy specialized epic and all the gear rode a few months fell and hurt his wrist...soon after sold all the stuff and went on down the road.

what gets me is the folks that get all bent outa shape at a bunch of neanderthals (sp) that get on forums and beat each other over the head then want to censor the fun??? deleting threads is for pussies that can't take the heat...if the tread is good it will stand on it's own if not it will die quickly.

loco-gringos good thing you'll be in town for the lake lake race because one of the epic shit talkers *(sporkie) on the smackforum will be in from nor-cal for the weekend too so the smackers should come outa the woodwork so it should be a fun weekend

I didn't even know the smack site existed anymore. Last time I visited it, there was talk about which guy wasn't riding cause he was hooking up with some BBW or why so-and-so wasn't any good, and blah, blah, blah. The only good stuff was the old stuff. Now the posters are freaking aging hippies.

well just like this place their is a giant SUCKING sound when you log on because of the uber-hyper-sensitive people that seem to not have a sense of humor.

hell i was so bored i went on over to the mtbr.com forum to see whats up over there...SHIT it's worse !!!! i'm currently gang flamed on the SingleSpeed forum because of a so called "offensive" forum handle and avatar and all this time i thought this was the land of the P.C. tissue paper feelings bunch.

just face it just like this forum it was good when it was populated by folks that had a sense of humor then it catches on and the newbies with too much emotional baggage come in and get all offended buy the word F U C K...

maybe we can have another poll...to see what the group thinks
