    Memorial Park

Are the trails open? Is rain expected? I will be in Houston Friday, Saturday, early Sunday and am hoping to get a ride in. Thanks!

They were closed on Tuesday. I'm going to be out there again tonight to ride the loop and then the West End ride. I'll check for you and then post up again later on tonight when I get back. WHen are you coming into town?

They were open last night (Wednesday) and should be in great shape until it rains again....

Thanks for the input, TXRAiDR and Mutha. I will be leaving Beaumont tomorrow morning and getting to Houston around noon. I don't expect to get to ride until Saturday. If it looks like the rain will be early Saturday, maybe I can talk my riding partner into going out there Friday. We will be leaving Sunday morning. We have never ridden MP. We both got new bikes the first weekend in March - she got hers at West End Cycles, so we went over to MP to ride, but the trails were closed. We are looking forward to getting a chance to ride out there.
    Thanks again!

Thanks for all the help with the trail conditions out at MP. As it turned out, we did not get to go ride. We were staying in Sugarland, so it was a little farther away than I thought. I was bummed about not getting to go, but had fun with the family, and that is the priority. I did get to go to REI and get a hitch rack and drool at all the fun toys, though...that perked me up a little. We will certainly be making a drive out on weekend though to ride. Thanks again!
