2005 Texas Chainring Massacre 6Hr. Race at RHR

Wanted to get the notice out on this forum that the 2005 Texas Chainring Massacre 6 Hour MTB race will be at Rocky Hill Ranch in Smithville on 8/31/05. We'll be running the race from 5:00 - 11:00 to take advantage of the cooler night riding.

We've got some great sponsors on board providing us with some schwag to raffle off. Also we're paying out 50% to our top 5 solo racers.

Thanks Mel. Any help you can give getting the word around in Houston would be greatly appreciated.

I can e-mail you the race flyer and you can print it out to hand out at the katy flatlander, or your next club meeting, or possibly at a bike shop there in Houston. Unfortunately I have very few connects in H-town.

    Keith,

I think your date is wrong isn't it 8/13 and not 8/31. I wish it was 8/31 because I'll be doing the Leadville CO 100 on 8/13.

    Oops...you're right. It's 8/13 not 8/31. I was typing too fast.

some of the UH team should be there, and I am trying to recruit as many people as possible to sign up. I have been a race promoter at RH before, and love that place.

    Course Map

Hopefully this will give everyone an idea of what the course will be. I'm thinking it's going to be around 11-12 miles.
