seriously, conroe? WTF did you do to have to move there? More water sports there than MTBing BUT I dod know they have been cutting trial there recently. havent been dont know where yet, i know the guy and will ask when i see him.
Huntsville is a little north and Double Lake is a little North East and both will probably remind you of florida.
Lake Bryan North West is nice and is an hourish from cornrow.
Waco, Warda and Rocky Hill ranch are within 2 hours.
    Austin with its stuff.
    Sa with its stuff.
    Dallas has it's stuff.
Comfort ask Jimmy for a tour.
    Ya'll don't know what it's like

    Geez Tony, you're no help

If you're into racing or just want a cool local shop, go to BikeLane at FM1960 and I-45, near Hooters. If you want to join a fun social club, look into Northwest Cycling Club. http://www.northwestcyclingclub.com/

Post up when you're here, someone will give you a tour of the local trails.

I'm from Florida also, Jax and Palatka.

Welcome to Texas. Fortunately, things are improving for you on the north side of Houston (Conroe being our northernmost suburb). There is a new trail at Carl Barton Jr. Park - only about 2.5 miles at the moment, but due to expand shortly. You have a 40min drive to either Huntsville State Park or Double Lake. There are several options as you go south to Houston. Go to WWW.GHORBA.ORG for all you need to know about Houston trails.

Beware, Mel is actually from Venus. She lies to earthmen and pretends to be human. She wants your mountain bike. It isn't pretty when she gets through with you, watch out.
    Florida? HA!
