Titus failed miserably with the carbon fiber racer x not only does it have a carbon/aluminum rear end it's heavy and ugly (too industrial) and where is the integrated headset?

last year i was all geeked about the CF racer x till i saw one on line and in person at the Houston demo ride... they can do better

right now it's a toss up between the new cannondale scalpel or the racer x as the FS bike xc race bike for 2008

i'm not sold on that DW link

I think several of our team guys are going to be on the Spider FRO for spring series

I rode the carbon, it rode very nice, even stiffer front triangle...

I used to despise integrated headsets but at this point don't really care one way or the other, well, I guess I still like to be able to use my trusted King hs

what happend to the "horst link" luv charles ?

i would like to see what some of the hammerhead racers think of going from a racer x type of suspension to a VPP on the intense bikes.

    didn't xlcheese go from a 26" racer x to a 29" turner ?

    there's a good mix locally
XL is on a semi custom El Patron (ventana)

honestly, most of those guys don't really get too caught up in the whole theory stuff and frankly, neither do I, fit, handling and overall feel and vibe are what's most important to me...

I think my next bike is going to be a snailsworth 29er, the evolve
why? I like the geometry #s and sizing primarily and the design works very well and they are on the light side...

Charles, you may want to talk to Doug (as in Doug, as in trail dude down at Flat Rock) as he as an Evolve and really likes it the last I heard.

we've sold one of the carbon RXs. I think that's the last Titus we sold. We've had a ML and a RX frame on sale for 6 weeks now, and they haven't even been asked about.
And what they wanted, Was his eternal Slowdown.

    it's already in transit
I have ridden Ellsworths, I looked at the #s, it should be a nice ride
    it's all testing anyways..
I am not in the biz to be profitable, it's to be able to ride new stuff all the time

i'd like to ride one of those new cannondales but the ability to even buy one before the spring season is kinda holding me back along with the $6500 price tag.

the only other bike i know is the racer x

not to many folks let you take a bike out for a extended ride and tooling around so my choices are pretty much limited
