    Houston, Houston, Houston

Why do we even have a separate forum if no one is using it? where the heck is everyone? and where is everyone riding these days? Cypresswood is looking good for a quick trip on the north side of town.

Wow...people still come to the Houston board...
May you have warm words on a cold evening, a full moon
on a dark night and the road downhill all
    the way to your door.

I check back every now and then to see if there's any action over here. It's a shame it's not used more.

    Do I know yOu?

We've never met, but we've chatted here a very long time ago. Last time I remember you had the green Element I think.

Ah yes, you ride at Memorial Park a lot right?
Yep, green Element still, it has almost 100,000 miles on it!

Actually only rode MP once or twice, used to ride the Ant Hills a lot too but mostly I used to ride at Cypresswood alot, before all the construction. When I get the chance to ride my bike (bad knee) I'll ride the improper trail as it's close to home.

other than you TexMex and Mel no one from Houston ever posts on here perhaps ya'll will get a clue an realize that the vast majority of folks in Houston are on either the smacksite or the anthills or ghorba.

if y'all want to find out what is going on in houston those forums are your best bet not bikemojo/houston.

Hey Bill - go ahead and do some trolling on the GHORBA forum - it needs some life putting into it.

I was just thinking the same thing. I went to Memorial Park recently, it was in pretty bad shape. The cool drop-offs are so rained out that it's not even ridable anymore. What's worse is that trails have been re-routed to avoid the damaged trails, therefore the technical level as well as adrenelin rush just went out the window. Way back on the "cambodia" side is totally covered in trees.

The only riding I know of that still remains fun, is of course Cypresswoods, Huntsville, Warda and anything in Austin.

Not sure when you were at MP, but a huge amount of work has been done recently, so I think you will find it much better. There's an intensive effort underway to fix the damage from the rainy summer of 2007 and its really showing results.

Hey Bryan, yeh, not much happening here.

BTW, Cypresswood trails are in great shape.
