    trail to ride in Houston

going to be in Houston this weekend and need a place to ride my mtb

    Suggestions?

I know MP and Ant Hills - was looking for something else that is relatively close to the NW side (Beltway & Horse Track area)

You can try Cypresswood. The trail starts at Collins Park, located off cypresswood dr. behind the courthouse.

Jack Brooks Park is worth the drive, but it's almost to Galveston.

    That's funny...

Trails in Houston? Not good this weekend due to the rain, MP trails would be closed. Sometimes better to drive up to Huntsville, Warda or Rockyhill Ranch. Not too far yet 10 times the ride!

yep and with more rain coming, it's not looking good for any in town trail riding. Good thing I'm a roadie also.

With the recent time change, I want to get a regular Cypresswood tues or thurs ride going.
