    Job Listing: Bicycle Sales and Assembly Tech @ CHUMBA USA (Pace Bend Area)

    This is a full time position, available immediately. CHUMBA USA and Wanderlust Gear offer a unique and exciting workplace that favors professional employees who can communicate while working with a team and are self motivated when working individually. Our bikes are all made in the USA, our Austin headquarters is our factory, demo center, design studio, assembly and shipping center.

    Sales Rep and Assembly Tech:
    The Sales Rep and Assembly Tech position is a balance between dealer/customer sales and shipping/assembly. Key to the position is a passion for riding, customer connections and helping others to ride bikes. Candidates should have proven sales experience and be able to contribute sales to the team: by creating newsletters, connecting with customers, creating dealer contacts, and maintaining relationships with those dealers and customers long term. Candidates will need to successfully multi-task between Sales and Shipping/Assembly on a daily basis. A solid foundation of mechanical experience in assembly and repair is preferred. This is a position that has opportunity to grow with the company long term and we are looking for self motivated and long term employee committed to a high caliber of work.

    Core Duties
    Gain new Dealer/customer relationships nationally for CHUMBA & Wanderlust Gear.
    Support CHUMBA/Wanderlust Gear Sales team with customer sales, quotes, phone calls and emails.
    Assembly, frame prep, and packaging/shipping of high end bicycles and soft goods.

    Passionate Mountain Biker, Positive Attitude, Professional/Friendly Demeanor
    Proven Sales History with an emphasis on one on one connections, creating sales leads and maintaining relationships
    Comfortable public/phone speaking both one on one and to groups, comfortable calling a new dealer
    Strong Research skills, ability to find and locate the right potential new dealers
    Thorough understanding of current mountain bike components, styles of riding, and types of bikes
    Responsive customer service record
    Excellent problem solving skills
    Proficient in email customer service
    Competent Assembly Skills (can be trained)

    Additional Preferred Requirements:
    Highly proficient in accurate shipping and packaging
    2 years of Mechanical Shop Experience
    Marketing Experience
    Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite
