We've had rain every morning since Wednesday. Can't imagine CP will be any fun until early next week.

I went out last Sunday which was three days after the last rain at the time, and it was still slick and a few trails were muddy(brown dirt trails). While it was rideable for the most part, it was not fun. If you are a beginner, I wouldn't do it at all.

It rained here on Friday morning, and it might have rained on Friday evening though the roads in the park looked dry, but the roads all around CP were damp.

It has been cloudy and humid for most of the afternoon. I doubt there was any drying at all.

No rain since Monday(Sunday?). Trails should be getting pretty nice.

    i rode today 7/12/07...

started out on cal 56 and went from there. dirt is amazing. rock out crops are slick and watch out for the occasional low branch. i went down shyst (to the river trail) and got to the bottom and it was soupy mud. checked the river level and it's averaging a little over 21 ft. which would flood parts (and most) of the river trail. all that to say if you plan your ride to exclude the river trail you're good to go that is if it doesn't rain (30 - 40% chance through the weekend).

    Friday the 13th

Conditions were great at 6:57pm, things started to go down hill at 7:01pm, and by 7:06pm the trails were not very fun to ride.

    I blame Loco.

They should be decent -- DGRs* and green dirt abound.

i rode yesterday evening. like wumpus said, green rocks = super slick. other than that they are great. one muddy spot on the river trail from the start to mouth of the bosque. it's a safe bet to say that from mouth of the bosque to mcc is still flooded. also a puddle at the bottom of torquer just off of weber's run. if you don't mind a slick rock here and there (maybe everywhere) the riding is awesome.

I hope to ride tomorrow evening. I will have to roll the SS, most likely. We'll see.

The rain missed us. The trails are in really good shape except the river trail.

Looks like they raised the river a little. This is between Shyst and Speed Run.

There was about 8" of water over part of the trail between Arroyo and Shyst, but it was rideable.
