That is far too flat for us to have ridden it.

We just got a nice shower for about 30 minutes. The trails might be a little slickery first thing in the morning, but should be good to go late morning(???).

    Saturday Evening

    Trails are dry and dusty.

The two huge drain pipes at the bottom of torquer suck.

Overlook(???) and Mouth of the Bosque are closed to vehicles for the dragboat races. Bring earplugs if you are planning on riding the River Trail.

Might be a little slick early Monday morning, but that is all.

I'm no weatherman, but I would say that as long as it doesn't rain that the trails will be fine.

Yeah I rode last Sunday. The trails were PERFECT--but just about any rock to dab on was slick as snot. Iwas surprised what a fun trail Highlander was but after I got done with it I was kaput. Saw Riptide out there too--he was ridin with the lads that usually ride expert at the races.

Thinking about maybe heading up on Monday the 24th--but only if my friend Dan from Hawaii feels like driving from Dallas to Waco after his flight. So I'd say only 10-15% chance now--

BUT--in case, does bicycles-outback rent xc full suspension bikes?

They use to have some demo bikes, but I have no idea about renting.

Typically a demo is rented. I have 1 now and one on the way. I need to get my rental forms all squared away this week. I will be riding one today, albeit a little small for me.

I didnt see rentals mentioned on Larry's pages. John, you do rentals at Sun-Country? I'd imagine if he does decide he wants to ride by the time he got checked into his hotel and got down to Waco it'd be early afternoon anyway-so you'd be open and on the way for me to stop by on the way up. Let me know.

    We were there that day.

    OMG was that loud!!
We were down by the river to watch some. I guess the echo off the rocks was NUTZ!!

I couldn't believe we say people out there with small kids, without earing protection!!

We left Frank a voicemail message with a boat racing by at the perfect time!

Impressive speed, no waves.....super loud! Pretty cool!

    might be heading up Sat
