My unofficial rain bucket says we got an 1" of rain in 45 minutes.

Just got word that the drag boat races are this weekend...In the past, they sometimes close some roads in the park.

One word of caution...they are loud if you are on the River Trail.

I would love to go, but it's going to be too wet and loud!

    No rain this week.

The winds in the middle of the week littered the trails with some brush and brambles.

    Tree down on Dead River.
Lots of face slappers throughout the park.
Bucket of $hit in the middle of Picnic. You'll smell it before you see it.

0.43" yesterday and the riding is not prime any more

    Misty today, but nothing measurable.

Trails should be alright on Thursday as long as we don't get any more precip. Starting thursday it's forecasted to be 90+ degrees for a while.... knock knock knockin' on summer's door....

Gross. It's going to be humid.

Good GnR reference. I give you +10 forum points.

Doubt it. Sprinkles off and on this morning with a better chance of rain this afternoon. Depending on what really happens...Thursday afternoon/evening is looking like the earliest.

Just when the trails start to dry out.. the heavens empty their bladder on us, again. almost 1" in a few minutes at the airport. I'd believe it seeing the mass amounts of standing water on campus. The verdict's out as to wether or not the sun will dry it out quick enough for a thursday evening or Friday ride.

That's crazy. We didn't get near that amount of rain over by the coliseum.

It's been dry and sunny all day, and it is suppose to hit 90 tomorrow.

trails are in good shape for the most part. Lots of DGR's and a few tacky spots in some areas. There is a Branch and vines that are blocking the river trail just past shyst we tried to get it out of the way but a saw will be needed for the vines.

Vines/branches are still there on the river. Those things are SHARP.

Oh yeah, and the bucket of $hit is still sitting on Picnic. You can still smell it from several feet away.

Quite a few branches/small trees blocking the trail so I did a little trimming here and there.

Tree partially blocking the bottom of shyst. Didn't see anything on the River trail, but I didn't ride much of it, and I skipped Picnic.

Wow. Nearly 2" of rain and it doesn't look like it will be stopping anytime soon.
