    You're joking, right?

It rained over an inch yesterday. It's been cool, cloudy and humid all day. There is no way that the trails should be ridden today.

I am guessing it will be ok by mid-day Saturday? Any local knowledge is appreciated, I don't want to jack with your sweet trails.

    Thanks.

    Sunday Morning

The trails were in pretty good shape. A few muddy corners, but that was about it.

Trials are dry, but they haven't started turning to powder yet.

There was a snag down on the river trail on the MCC loop. If your short it shouldn't be a problem.

    Thanks Everyone!

Thank you Bicycles Outback and Waco Bike Club and the City of Waco and Tres Mares ? and the Luna Chix and Shonny V. for presenting a wonderful clinic Nov. 1 -2. It was my first time to bike Cameron Park, and it was just awesome. I have already interested my chiropractor and his wife in stopping there some day soon. And I will continue to pass the word about the phenomenal biking. I'll be back.

Special thanks to Sergio for the food AND watching my back on Powder Monkey, Rio Perdido, and many more, Stephanie for adopting me and encouraging me on Vortex (which I loved), Suzanne and Stacy for the skills sessions, the two Rustys for many deeds, Ian for all he did, Kim for all she did, Fred for lending his support, Spencer for putting up with me the first day and Sam for his work, and Dawn and Alvis, and the good-looking gal with the microphone, and the Luna Chix for energy treats, and Bob for tending to cracked knees and noses and all, and Billie for the yoga, and the others whose names I did not get or forgot.

I adore an event which makes me feel much younger than my 62 years. Everyone who has attended these clinics just raves about them, and for good reason.

    Sincerely,
    Marti Buckwalter
    Austin, Texas

Thanks to you guys also for keeping me posted about conditions.

    Thursday AM

Lite rain last night. Trails were mostly dry, but no dust. A few tacky areas. The only wet areas were in the spots where the dirt/debris collects in corners and low spots. Probably won't even be able to tell there was any rain by this afternoon.

We got some rain Tuesday. It was pretty damp yesterday(Wed), but it is clear and sunny today(Thurs). It should be perfect this weekend.

Planning on a night ride Friday depending on when the cold front hits and how chilly it might or might not be.

Trails were in great shape tonight. The wind was blowing pretty good and there were a few small branches here and there but I didn't see anything major. I did almost miss a few corners with the leaf cover. Plus, descending batcave with all the leaves falling was quite fun -- Texas snow?

    Sunday AM

    Dry, dusty and leafy.

Lite sprinkles on the way home, but it is going to have to rain quite a bit to do anything.

There was a lonely visor at the bottom of Vermont.
