Sorry, I missed this, but yes it was OK today.

Little slick in places, DGRs everywhere.

The road to the Mouth of the Bosque is closed and will be for awhile until they pave it.

All trails crossing the road are blocked at the bottom. You need to take the Johnny to the River trail to get around -- there is a new entrance to Johnny off the River Trail.

Quite a few headbangers and trees down.

    Redwood shelter is still closed.

Parking at Lover's Leap and any of the overlooks and under the bridge.

Only dry day this week was Monday.

I might head out Friday for a ride to check things out.

    Should be OK.

    Trails were OK today.

    Lots of slick green rocks.

A few soft spots -- around the baseball fields, MCC trail, River trail...

    Wednesday

It has been dry all week. Trails should be great.

    Saturday night

The trails were OK this with a few spots, but we have got a lot of rain this afternoon.

They are going to be slick as snot on Sunday. I'll be staying at home and drinking beer.

Going to be rolling through Waco tomorrow (Tuesday 6th) and always hate to miss a chance to ride these fun trails. Any thoughts on trail conditions for Tuesday mid-day or maybe Wed. afternoon on the way back assuming no more rain?

    Thanks, any info is appreciated.

It was probably pretty slick today if you rode.

It should be OK on Wednesday -- a few soft spots and DGRs

I'm going to Waco as well, should be on the trails early afternoon. I'm on a blue stumpjumper. Say hi if you see me. I heard there has been some crime in the park and wouldn't mind riding with someone. Not real worried about it but still..

    Crime in the park?

I'm sure there is some as in every urban area, but those are old rumors that shouldn't continue to be passed around.

There was a frontal storm/shower line headed south on Tuesday so I just rode in Austin before I left. Pretty freaking tired on the way back today and it had been raining/drizzling in Dallas so I just rolled through on the way back. I don't think the MTB was amused by the 400 mile round trip teaser.

How is the trail? Is it dry or muddy?

It was pretty slick today -- noonish Thursday.

Any rain and it won't be much fun for a few days.

    Sunday

Rain and mist all day. Didn't go but trails have to be glacial by now.

    Wednesday

It rained most of Tuesday and is still cloudy and damp outside.

I am planing to ride this Park on Sat. morning. Do you believe it will be ridable then based on latest rain fall. I rode once this summer and it was heavily shaded and wasn't sure how long for it to dry out.

It will be fine on Saturday if it doesn't rain anymore.

The main issue with it being wet is that it is just slimy and not much fun to ride.

After the last two(three?) dry years, I have come to the conclusion that it is way worse to ride when it is bone dry than it would ever be to ride when wet.

    Friday

I rode yesterday morning(Thursday). Lots of slick, muddy corners where the runoff collects. The rest of the trails were in good shape with lots of DGRs.
